1 - stop the BackupPC daemon 2 - update File::RsyncP (manually or via the 'cpan' command) 3 - perl ./configure.pl Then answer the following question: "Is this a new installation or upgrade for BackupPC? If this is an upgrade please tell me the full path of the existing BackupPC configuration file (eg: /etc/BackupPC/config.pl). Otherwise, just hit return." -> /full/path/to/your/current/config.pl (default values for other parameters should be OK) 4 - start the BackupPC daemon NOTA: you may have to adjust file permissions for the Web GUI to work. Take a look at your running config and take notes before you upgrade. -- Vincent ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
