Hy everyone,
I just installed backuppc in a test environment.
Used 2 winXP as clients and a Debian/sarge as backuppc-server.
Everythings works fine, great product.
Only......
I'm can not login with a normal user.
The only user I can login with at http://backuppc-server/backuppc/ is
"backuppc" ?
I have created a normal user on the server, it's name is "edo".
And I can login with that user on the console of the server and create
backups with it.
After editing the config.pl file like this:
$Conf{CgiAdminUserGroup} = 'backuppc edo';
$Conf{CgiAdminUsers} = 'backuppc edo';
Still unable to logon to backuppc.
I did notice the file /etc/backuppc/htpasswd in witch only the user
"backuppc" is mentioned.
Here might be the problem!!
Only the password is scrambled and I don't know how to add a user to this
file with a scrambled password.
I could not find anything on the htpasswd file in the documentation so I am
unable to RTFM myself out of this one.
Am I on the right track here?
Is there something I missed?
Any help would be verry appreciated.
