Hello, David. I use a stand alone rsync + cygrunsrv install. The service rsync.exe is reported as running by user SYSTEM. SYSTEM has all the perms activated on directory C:\Documents and Settings\jdoe\Desktop But I'm getting chdir failde when rsync'ing. rsync -av [EMAIL PROTECTED]::johndoeDesktop What else do I have to check on WindowsXP permission? :-\ Thanks in advance. > > On Wednesday 25 January 2006 03:05 am, JS wrote: >> Hello, >> >> I have a problem on a windows xp wokstation sp2. >> I configure the rsyncd with cygwin. >> But I have a problem when I want to backup the computer >> Error is : "chdir failed". >> >> Someone have an idea. >> Regards >> M >> -- Arlequín _o) amahoro_AT_adinet_DOT_com_DOT_uy / \\ http://counter.li.org/ _(___V Linux Registered User #207262 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
