I looked into it.  There are also tools that will take a deny log and 
convert it into a policy for you.  However, that tends to make very ugly 
policies, and if you miss a feature that requres some sort of access, it 
won't work.

In the end, I ended up disabling SELinux on my backup server.  I have it 
on my todo list, but I've got a number of things above it...
