We have several hundred servers just in the dev & qa environment. They are all set to UTC, but we had to update them to ensure time calculations are correct when using US and Canadian time zones.
The changes are very easy to implement. On RedHat there are only a few glibc RPMs and one tzdata RPM. After you reboot, things are golden. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Paul Fox Sent: Thursday, March 08, 2007 1:10 PM To: backuppc-users@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: Re: [BackupPC-users] if system is on UTC... jonathan wrote: > > For Linux / Unix servers, it is kind of tempting to just change system > time to UTC, forget about future modifications to DST, and get used to > making sense of the logs in UTC time.
