Yes, but tar is using only mtime, it doesnt check the file name and
directory it sits in, and this causes it to miss some things.

Also, would it improve performance cpuwise if we use --whole-file with rsync
where large files are transferred? (if bandwidth is not a problem) Wouldnt
this also cause uncompression of the backed up file while updating?
