I have a laptop which connects sometimes through a wired connection
and sometimes through wireless. How can I set up the dhcpd on the
server so that which ever connection I use (often both are connected
at the same time too) Backuppc will pick up the name of my computer
and do its backups.
At present I have set 2 ip addresses in dhcpd.conf one for wireless
and one for wired. I had to set different names for them here too. So
when I connect by wireless it is nendu-wireless and when I connect
wired it is nendu. So the backups only work when my computer is
connected to the wired network.

My friends laptop on the other hand picks up a dynamic address and
both the ip addresses (wired and wireless) resolve to the same netbios
name.

Is there also a setting on my windows computer that I need to set to
make this work?
