Hi, I work with backuppc 2.1.2 on a ubuntu 6.06 LTS machine.
I backup my servers via the rsync method. After the backup I made a archive to an external disk. That works fantastic. But now I have the problem, that we need a grained right-management on our samba-server. So I have to implement ACLs. As I read in the list ACLs are not supported by backuppc. But I read that star is workingh with ACLs and the rsync command normally work with ACls, too. So is there a wokaround to handle this problem?
