I want to rename some of the clients that are backed up, at least as far as the name displayed in the BackupPC UI is concerned. What I've done so far: - changed a.very.long.hostname in the hosts file to shortname - renamed the per-client config file from a.very.long.hostname.pl to shortname.pl - renamed the backuppc/pc/a.very.long.hostname directory to backuppc/pc/shortname - reloaded the configuration file However, BackupPC reports that there is now one host that has never been backed up, namely shortname. What do I need to do to convince BackupPC that this host is now simply being referred to by a different name?
