This is kind of related to my last question, I want to backup a backup
to a removable media volume on a certain schedule (in my case once a
week) but in your case it would be once a month. I think the answer may
lie in using the BackupPC_tarCreate, but I could be wrong. I am still
waiting for the list to answer this question as well.

/Christian

Subject: [BackupPC-users] Howto create and keep yearly backups

Hello,

How I can reach the goals:
- get and keep till end of the year one full backup each month
- get and keep forever one full backup each year

If I understand the documentation right with $Conf{FullKeepCnt} and
$Conf{FullPeriod} I only can specify exact daily or weekly repetitions.
But how to configure monthly (remember each month have another count of
days) or yearly (consider the leap year where february have 29 days)
repetitions of backups?

Maybee it is possible to start the backups from /etc/cron.monthly ?
Maybee there is another solution?

Thanks for any hint
Matthias
