As I understand it, the windows file system is incapable of properly storing BackupPC data, because of the need to use hardlinks. This means that a windows drive cannot be used for the pool, nor can it be used to accurately back up or clone the pool.
A windows computer could certainly access the backups, by way of the cgi interface. Is there a particular reason why you're interested in saving the backups on a windows machine?
