I was about to post the same thing. I moved/renamed some directories around on the server I am backing up, and it is downloading the entire file(s) again. Is there any interest in having BackupPC w/ rsync check the pool first before downloading? Is there a reason behind not doing it, or is it just something that hasn't been gotten to yet?
