Thank you for your suggestion, nmblookup does work for a windows computer but not for my ubuntu laptop (nor for a MacOS X laptop I tried a few month ago). Is there a simple and secure way to enable such reply ? (if yes, what is it ?) Will it work on mac ? (I'm rather suspicious on that topic: last time I enabled samba sharing on ubuntu, people where able to see all the computer user names) cheers ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
