Hello,
I'm still installing BackupPC on my Fedora Core 6 and it's working via
samba (Windows Clients).
Ok, now I would like to configure it with Rsync and SSH in order to have a
system which is more secured.
I would like to know if somebody did it successfully and if it is easy or
no.
I searched on the web and there are a lot af tutorials but in majority
between Linux Clients/Server and not between a Linux Server and Windows
Client.
On my Win Clients :
----------------------------
- I downloaded "cygwin-rsyncd-2.6.8_0.zip"
- I configured : rsyncd.conf rsyncd.secrets
- I started : rsync.exe
On my Linux Server :
------------------------------
- I run the command "yum install perl perl-Compress-Zlib perl-Archive-Zip
perl-File-RsyncP httpd mod_perl samba-client" during the installation of
the BackupPC
- I created the keys with commands :
$ su backuppc -
# ssh-keygen -t rsa
And I tested the connection between my client and my server and it doesn't
work.

I would like you to precise that I'm using a Domain Backup Operator user
which is created on the AD.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Romain
