My BackupPC is now running and doing a backup. Probably, i'll just study how to
schedule a backup.

I'm just wondering how can I login as "backuppc" user? I create user using
htpasswd

htpasswd -c /var/www/cgi-bin/.backuppcpsswd admin
htpasswd /var/www/cgi-bin/.backuppcpsswd backuppc

When I login as backuppc, they have the same options when I login as admin. So
what I did is remove the backuppcpsswd but still the same to have no security
but still the same.

How can I login to as administrator so that I can see different options such as
Admin Options?

logged in as wrong user?

Good to know.

"This" being?

The tutorial?

Looks ok. Most of us name our hosts though.

 in the pc dir:

You can't edit directories.

Wrong file (unless you're not using FHS). $ConfDir/pc/10.0.1.5.pl will
 work
in any case. $ConfDir defaults to /etc/BackupPC but might be
 /etc/backuppc
or something else in packaged versions.

So, to sum it up: authenticate to your web server as "backuppc".

Holger
