I'm familiar with rsync's "file has vanished" error. As I understand it, it means the file was there when the list of files was compiled, but it was no longer there by the time the transfer occurred. However, I keep getting this error in my logs for the same four files. They are obviously not vanishing, and there is nothing unique/special about these files that I can tell. Is there something else that could cause this error? The host in question is a Windows machine using rsyncd.
