Reporting back.......

OK....seems to be resolved.

I upgraded two systems to backuppc-3.1.0, one was centos 4.5 the other 
was centos 5. Both had the same localhost backup set up. And the last 3 
backups on each site have shown zero errors.

Thanks Craig, and well done on this brilliant piece of software!!

p.s. just also thought i would mention that i upgraded via source 
tarball and did not have any issues with the hosts summary page, using 
ie6 or firefox 2 to browse.
