Hello,

I used Backuppc for a while on one machine without problems. The backups
were made on a external USB drive that was mounted in /media/disk, and the
directory /media/disk/backuppc was linked to /var/lib/backuppc.
For some reasons I had to connect the USB drive on another PC in my network.
I deleted the complete backups on the drive.
I mounted the drive (NFS export) to /media/disk and put the same link.
I restarted the service, and after messing up a lot with the permissions,
achieved to have contact with the backuppc server.
It keeps running, but in the beginning I had a lot of Xfer errors in the
logs (permission denied).
Now I see in the "localhost" status screen something like "no backups had
suceed", but I can't find any logs anymore of localhost, and any backups.
In the logs of the server, I see each backup (/etc, /video, /home), starting
2 times in a short time.
I don't really know what to do. May be uninstall evrything and start again ?
Is the backup on a remote mounted drive possible ?
which permissions do the backuppc user needs (to which group must he belong)
?

many tanks,

Serge
