When this error happens at the top-level share it is considered a fatal error, so it doesn't increment the Xfer error count. Just to confirm: is the backup complete (ie: are there any other files or directories that should be backed up)? In particular, are there more files/directories are dec07? If not, please add some new files and make sure a backup completes. That will tell me whether I should consider this a fatal error or just count it as an Xfer error.
