That's a small number of files, so that's not the problem.

There is a significant error somewhere and the information is
almost certainly in the XferLOG.bad.z file.  The error might
not be at the end of the file - depending upon the error tar
tries to continue.

Please select "Show only errors" in the browser and email me
the output.  Or if the file isn't too big, send me the whole
file off list.
