I have been using Lustre on a backuppc server for quite some time.
Another fs could be glusterfs. I can do a test to check the speed, since
I am using the fs. Glusterfs is on top of a standard fs, just like NFS,
but scales so much better. I'l test this evening, and let you know the
result.
