Ok, first have you change your rights on your folder in order to allow your
backuppc user to read and write (for restoring) ?
Even if, you can add this user to Backup-Operator group.
If your rights are ok, did you try to change C$ by another path ?
Did you try to do it with command line on your BackupPC server ?
