Hi Group,
I try to configure backup for IBM AIX server 5.3 ML 07. Its reporting
an error
backup failed (Tar exited with error 65280() status). The Backup PC version
is
2.1.2 September release and the tar version is 1.14.
The setup is as follows:
The IBX AIX client's ssh port number is assigned as 1122 (other than default
val 22).
It has been updated in sshd_config and /etc/services. I modified the Backup
Server's (where
BackupPC is installed) /etc/services file to 1122 and it was working fine
with a normal Redhat
Linux 4 machine. But when same setup is tried for IBM AIX server it was
giving above mentioned error.
Do we need to do any extra configuration for IBM AIX clients???
I have tried out all the possibilities. If anyone has tried out backup in
AIX and have encountered
same type of error please give a solution for this.
