Maybe, but everything I tried (chroot " true/false, deactivating " cygwin, c:, C:/, /cygdrive/C ...), the directory on the server stays " empty. " " hjb In my case, at least some files (rsyncd.conf itself, for example) are definitely being backed up from the win2k drive c: to a different machine. I hope (but don't know for certain :-) that the other files are also being backed up. Only the 'file in use' or 'file has vanished' errors are reported by the backuppc gui as having been logged, however. I don't know what to suggest but it doesn't look to me as if, for me and on my machine, the 'ygdrive' problem is any more than a cosmetic issue, at least for right now.
