Your backuppc users's private/public > keys might be weak as well and maybe are therefore rejected... > The keys on the server were blacklisted. I tried to remove all the openssl and openssh packages and reinstall them, but still had the same problem. I did a ssh-keygen on a other machine, and installed the private/public key on my server, and now it is working.
