Hi,
i'm not sure, but i think this should work even with rsync XferMethod:
simply add chmod option to ${RsyncRestoreArgs} directive in your
machine specific
host configuration. U can choose to modify the permission of directory
or files with
'D' or 'F' flags before permission-type.
For example:
--chmod=Dg+s,ug+w,Fo-w,+X
