Note that you should ensure all hosts you want to back up have static IPs on your network. (You can do this either manually or with DHCP, as is your preference.) If hosts that you back up use dynamic IP addresses, SSH will eventually find a clash whereby one hostname is using an IP address that a different hostname was using. This will cause SSH to require user input to complete the connection, and thus automated backups and web-initiated backups will all fail until you resolve the issue. Better to avoid it. :o) Regards, Msquared... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ BackupPC-users mailing list BackupPC-users@lists.sourceforge.net List: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/backuppc-users Wiki: http://backuppc.wiki.sourceforge.net Project: http://backuppc.sourceforge.net/
