If you've got your pc/###/ directory setup completed, you may use BackupPC_tarCreate to create a tar of a particular host's backup. Alternatively, BackupPC_zcat might suffice if you're just after that one file and you don't care about restoring file attributes etc. You'd do something like this cd backuppc/pc/123/.../fsomedir/ BackupPC_zcat fsomefile > /tmp/somefile HTH, Tino. -- "What we nourish flourishes." - "Was wir nähren erblüht." www.lichtkreis-chemnitz.de www.craniosacralzentrum.de ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ BackupPC-users mailing list [email protected] List: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/backuppc-users Wiki: http://backuppc.wiki.sourceforge.net Project: http://backuppc.sourceforge.net/
