If you backup Windows 2003 or later, you should:

- snapshot your drives with shadow copy - this makes sure you don't have 
"file in use problem"
- run rsyncd service as SYSTEM user
- use the latest cwrsync with the latest _snapshot_ cygwin1.dll from 
http://cygwin.com/snapshots/ - it allows Cygwin programs to open files 
which are exclusively owned by other users
