I'm having a problem trying to restore files to my clients from my backuppc server. I am using rsync over ssh. The backups work great, but when I try to restore a file (I've just been trying to restore /etc/hosts to test the setup), it just hangs. I flushed my iptables, so it's not a firewall issue. When I run the restore, here are the relevant process listings on both the backuppc server (hostname: backup) and the client (hostname: sechost) to which I'm attempting to restore:

The backup server has rsync version 3.0.3. The other server has rsync version 2.6.9. The backup server has BackupPC version 3.1.0-3 installed (from the debian package). ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ BackupPC-users mailing list BackupPC-users@lists.sourceforge.net List: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/backuppc-users Wiki: http://backuppc.wiki.sourceforge.net Project: http://backuppc.sourceforge.net/
