I am trying to install BackupPC on ubuntu server edition. I am running the
confiure command as
sudo perl configure.pl
it fails with the error message
Making init.d scripts
can't chown 1000, 1000 init.d/gentoo-backuppc.conf at configure.pl line
1011.
Not sure where the permissions have to be changed. Can somebody help me fix
this?
