The latest version is 0.3.1 I use it everyday and it works fine for me (the author). Let me know if you need a copy of that version and I will send it to you.
Also, note that the scripts were written for XP. In fact, XP requires additional workarounds to Vista due to the fact that the vshadow command is crippled, shadow mounts are transient, and you can't easily assign mountpoints (other than through using dosdev). Theoretically, the script for Vista could be simplified. In fact, I have no idea whether it even works as-is for Vista given that I don't use Vista. At a minimum, you would need to make sure that you use the Vista version of vshadow and that dosdev still works with Vista. Also, the command line flags to vshadow may have changed in moving to Vista (got to love Microsoft). I have no plans on making a Vista version unless-and-until I upgrade (downgrade?) to Vista at home Bob Barker wrote at about 16:16:16 -0500 on Thursday, February 26, 2009: > Hi, > > I see that when I ssh to a Vista desktop without a password (via SSH > certificate) that the Windows Volume Shadow Service tools vshadow.exe > and dosdev.exe have problems functioning.
