Found the reason; I installed IO::Dirent at the same time, and my backuppc FS is XFS. In my case this is a known issue of 3.1.0, which has been fixed in 3.2.0beta0.

Now to upgrade, again...

Garith,

Sorry, no solution for you just to chime in with a "me too!". In our case this occured after upgrading from Ubuntu Hardy to Ubuntu Jaunty (2 versions up). This had the (expected, and fortunate) side-effect of upgrading from BackupPC 3.0 to 3.1. So a lot of things could have changed, but at this point I'm not too sure where it's looking to get its info.

We've switched on compression recently in BackupPC and I would expect to see something similar to:

Other info:

    * 52 pending backup requests from last scheduled wakeup,
    * 0 pending user backup requests,
    * 15 pending command requests,
    * Uncompressed pool:

    * Compressed pool:
          o Pool is 1764.50GB comprising 7041021 files and 4369

    * Pool file system was recently at 66% (5/4 12:42), today's max
      is 66% (5/4 08:27) and yesterday's max was 66%.

Unfortunately we seeing this instead:

Other info:

    * 93 pending backup requests from last scheduled wakeup,
    * 0 pending user backup requests,
    * 0 pending command requests,
    * Pool is 0.00GB comprising 0 files and 2 directories (as of 5/1
      01:00),
    * Pool hashing gives 0 repeated files with longest chain 0,
    * Nightly cleanup removed 0 files of size 0.00GB (around 5/1 01:00),
    * Pool file system was recently at 57% (5/4 12:39), today's max
      is 57% (5/4 01:00) and yesterday's max was 57%.

We have 2 backup servers - one seems to be reporting properly but the other not. Is there any way I could force a "rebuild" of the stats page?

Thanks!
