FYI, running a full backup appears to have resolved the slow incremental issue. I'm not entirely sure why that is, but I'm glad things are back to normal. I saw this solution mentioned quite a bit in the mailing list for people complaining about long backup times; Perhaps a candidate for the FAQ?
