The reason is always that rsync can't access the required directory.
Maybee because of access rights but also possible the directory not exists.

I am not sure about the ":" at the end of the log message.
Also I am not sure if you specify the right path. If you want to backup the
drive K: you have to specify "path = /cygdrive/K/" in your rsyncd.conf

Please send us your rsyncd.conf file. At least the definition for the share
kDrive.
