I'm referring to the former. My goal is to make sure that the main backuppc messages are delivered successfully before I attempt to create additional facilities for the latter. That said, I have defined this information in the config:
SendmailPath /usr/sbin/sendmail EMailFromUserName r...@[hostname] EMailAdminUserName m...@[domain] EMailUserDestDomain [domain] What I fail to see (and haven't seen) is how or when the emails are generated, though I understand they are generated when the backups have completed. I suppose I would to find out whether I need to define something within the "Dump{Pre,Post}{User,Share}Cmd" parameters in the main config or not. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
