Any thoughts on ZFS and deduplication? Its coming in build 128 of
opensolaris and also in nexenta core 3.
It does block level, online deduplication but apparently eats up tons of RAM
and needs some CPU power.
Its a pretty interesting thought to rsync over data to a pc/hostname/date/
folder and have the filesystem dedupe. Kind of does a lot of backuppc's
logic in filesystem.
