Need to ask. Can you really run this?
#su - backuppc -c "/usr/bin/touch /mnt/b1/pc/test/x.txt"

or just
#su - backuppc -c "/usr/bin/touch /mnt/b1/x.txt"
if you don't have the directories yet.
