Hi to all,
i am testing a "offsitebackup" from the BackupPC Host.
We have 1 BackupPC Server where we backup our Server and PC's. Every
thing is OK.
Now we won't make a 2. Backup from the BackuPC Server outside of the
Building. I make a Rsync-Job to backup the
/var/lib/backuppc/pc/$HOST/$lastbackup to the offsitebackup-server.
I make a copy of /etc/backuppc an /var/lib/backuppc to the
offsitebackuppc-server.
I deactivate the backuppc-service at the offsitebackuppc-server.
When i test the offsitebackupc-server with:
su -c "/usr/share/backuppc/bin/BackupPC_tarCreate -h $HOST -n
$EXISTINGBACKUPDIR -s / -t -r /var/lib -p /var/lib/ /var/lib/postgresql
> /tmp/out" backuppc
I get this error:
/usr/share/backuppc/bin/BackupPC_tarCreate: bad backup number
$EXISTINGBACKUPDIR for host $HOST
Have anybody a solution?
Or have anybody make a "offsitebackup" in an other way?
I only need the last Backup for a Host, no fullbackup over days.
