Hi, I want to backup a directory of a PC running XP from my Linux BackupPC server. The command I use is smbclient with the following arguments : /usr/bin/smbclient \\\\ordi_de_pauline\\Users -U admin -E -d 1 -c tarmode\ full -Tc -
The important thing is that I had to remove the -N option (no password) of smbclient which is used by defaults in config.pl. With the -N option, I had a "tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED" error. I hope it can be useful to somebody. Regards.
