Hi James, There are two possible fixes: 1. Use BackupPC 3.2.0. 2. Install libarchive-zip-perl 1.18-1 or older, and tell the package manager not to upgrade it. If you're using Debian stable (lenny), you shouldn't need a fix. Check what version of libarchive-zip-perl you've got. If newer, install the older one as in my post here: http://www.tolaris.com/2010/07/21/fixing-backuppcs-download-zip-archive-restore-option-in-ubuntu-lucid/ The package here works just fine in Debian or Ubuntu.
