You could also write a DumpPreUserCmd script to check the subnet...

The point is that there is no need (and in fact it would be a bad
idea) to code such a specific case into BackupPC. Rather, Backuppc
already has several 'hooks' that allow you to write simple scripts to
test this case and many other one-off use cases that might be interesting
to various individual users.
