Dare I ask, does this sound familiar in any way ? I had another followup which suggested I check 2 things: (a) are files all present when I browse via web interface? Answer - no - I only see files in the latest incremental backup / not 'all files' 'filled'. If I go to day zero backup - I see all files in the original full backup though. (b) if I pull the tarball via web interface - I get exactly the same size (partial, not full) tarball that is returned when I do the command line method. In case it is relevant: Host is a Stock Debian 6.0.2 system; BackupPC was installed via apt-get (headers tell me it is version, # Version 3.1.0, released 25 Nov 2007). I just note this now, and that current/latest version is 3.2; so I wonder if this is an old bug fixed in newer version ? Tim > > Something is going wrong there.
