Per the doc page in the link:
  "These values are language-dependent. The default versions can be
found in the language file (eg: lib/BackupPC/Lang/en.pm). If you need
to change the message, copy it here and edit it".

Your 'lib/" location may depend on how you installed backuppc.  Mine
(EPEL rpm based) is under /usr/share/BackupPC/.
