That just means the transfer program died or disconnected at the other
end, so you will need more information to diagnose it.  Possible
problems could be disk corruption on the target system or running out
of memory.  If you are connecting through a firewall or NAT router,
there may be time limits for either idle periods or total connection
length that you might exceed.
