Hello!

I tried to install Michael Stowe's BackupPC client (with VSS support) on a
Windows Server 2012 R2 server today. Unfortunately, the installer program
popped up an error: "Cannot determine version of vshadow to use". There
is only one choice: OK. When you click on it, the installer stays frozen
there until you click Cancel, when the installer exits half-finished.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might be able to get past
this? I am hoping that VSS hasn't changed between Server 2008 and 2012,
and it won't actually require any code changes, just a change to the
installer to get it past this.

I'm very willing to test both the installer and the program. I don't use
the BPC client much (most of my servers have more than one drive), but
when I can it's a really handy thing!

Thank you for your help!

Tim Massey
