New to the list, long time user of BackupPC. BackupPC version - 4.0.0.alpha3 (was running 3.3.0, same errors on both versions) on Opensuse 13.1 64 bit, perl 5.18.1,tar 1.26.
I am backing up a Windows 8.1 64 bit "File Server". Backups were running fine until a few days ago. I have not patched either in the last 2 weeks. Any other info that you would need I will gladly provide. The backup goes fine until the end and it just quits. All of the files backed up are backed up on the first run but the backup fails at the end and I cannot run a 2nd one without failure. I have tried both full and incremental from the Web GUI and also the command line. All fail in the same spot. Here is the relevant area. I ran a full backup with level 10 loglevel I unchecked "BackupZeroFilesisFatal" and the tar:800 appears, if I uncheck that disappears but the errors are still all the same. Have run out of ideas to troubleshoot. tarExtract: Done: 0 errors, 2 filesExist, 137278 sizeExist, 23978 sizeExistComp, 2 filesTotal, 137278 sizeTotal, 0 filesNew, 0 sizeNew, 0 sizeNewComp, inodeLast Xfer PIDs are now Got fatal error during xfer (tar:800 Total bytes received: 68639) Backup aborted (tar:800 Total bytes received: 68639) BackupFailCleanup: nFilesTotal = 0, type = incr, BackupCase = 6, inPlace = 1, lastBkupNum = BackupFailCleanup: inPlace with no new files... no cleanup Running BackupPC_refCountUpdate -h enterprise -f on enterprise xferPids 18445 Processing /backup/BackupPC/pc/enterprise/0 BackupPC_refCountUpdate: host enterprise got 0 errors BackupPC_refCountPrint: total errors: 0 xferPids Finished BackupPC_refCountUpdate (running time: 0 sec) Not sure what tar:800 means, have Google-fued it and haven't found anything relevant. Any help would be appreciated.
