I've got a customer who'd like me to implement some kind of automatic spot-checking of their BackupPC backups. E.g., pick a random system, pick a few random files, pull them from BackupPC and compare them (e.g., md5) to the files on the system.
Is there any reasonable way to do this? Is there an API for BackupPC? I googled and couldn't find anything. We're using 3.3.0.
