You can use a symbolic link or bind in /etc/fstab. It's not a good idea to
change it because Fedora runs with SELinux enabled by default and there are
specific policies applied for the package to allow BackupPC to work. If you
really can't use /var/lib/backuppc as the backup directory you'll have to
disable SELinux.


So I searched for configure.pl and could not find it anywhere on my

configure.pl will not be available because the package comes
pre-configured, configure.pl will not run outside of the full source
archive.
