Hi,what is the best way to install BackupPC to easily be able to update? I do not want to use the Ubuntu repository version because it is version 3.x. I want the latest versions and I'm using Ubuntu as OS.
I guess there are two installation options - install from Github or build your own deb package.
The only update option I have used was building a new deb package. How to update from Github I do not know.
I want also be able to install patches, for example, the patch that fixes the problem of blank zip and tar files upon downloading multiple files to restore.
